How to use PVC decorative film:

The solid color PVC decorative film is widely used in house decoration because it's easy to match the whole design style. White and cream color is the most popular color especially for the kitchen cabinet and wardrobe.

In the process of vacuum press which attaches the film to the cabinet or doors, the board with certain design is polished and spray with vacuum press glue, then the board is placed on the vacuum press machine, AKA membrane press machine. The film don't have glue itself on the backside, but usually it has a special chemical called primer coating to help attaching to the board. When the board is ready, the film will be placed on the board, and sent into the machine. After around 1 minute and a half with high temperature and high press, the film becomes soft and with the help of high pressure and the glue, the film is pressed tightly on the board, covering the texture of the board and the edge of the board. After the vacuum press the film is well attached to the board that you can't tear it apart with bare hand. It looks like the board just turn into another color, the film's solid color. The procedure of the flat lamination is more simple compare with vacuum press, the film is tiled on a big board, with glue between them, then the board and the film goes slowly through a big cylinder on a flat lamination machine, the high temperature of the cylinder will press the film on board. Then the board is laminated with a colorful PVC film, usually used for the slide doors of wardrobe.

Packing way of PVC decorative film:

We have two standard packing ways as following:

①：Paper core +rigid PVC film + Sponge + Brown paper + thin film

②：Paper core +rigid PVC film + Sponge + thin film

Each roll of PVC film is attached with an A4 sample, usually with a label on the roll body, and product information, such as color code, specification, roll number, length, gross weight, and batch number. Customers can also customize the label information and place the content that needs to be displayed. Therefore, customers can more intuitively view the PVC film information corresponding to each roll.

According to total order quantity, client can choose Less Than Container Load or Full Container Load shipment. Full Container Load usually comes in two sizes: 20 feet container and 40 feet container. 20 feet container can hold 10 pallets and some single PVC films. 40 feet container can hold 22 pallets and some single PVC films. Using pallets can be divided into different categories of PVC film, when packaging. What's more, it is convenient to use forklift and other tools to transport the goods, reducing the operation time.Each pallet can hold 16 rolls of PVC film. If the customer wants to load more PVC films into the container, can choose single roll packing without pallet.

What is the difference between PVC decorative film,melamine paper and wallpaper?

PVC decorative film is made of three layers of PVC film, face mask, base film and intermediate film, and the thickness can reach 0.09mm to 0.50mm. It is stronger and more durable than melamine paper, can be scratch-resistant, soft-touch surface treatment, superior performance and quality compared with melamine paper.

Both PVC decorative film and melamine paper can be used for MDF board, particle board and plywood. And they are all non-sticky. Melamine paper is thinner and more fragile than PVC decorative foil. The production process of PVC decorative film is complicated and thicker, so the strength is higher. Wallpaper is an adhesive and can be used directly on the wall.
